How do I get started with Qwick?
Welcome to Qwick! Whether you are a business partner looking to fill shifts, or a hospitality professional eager to find flexible work in the industry you love, we're so happy you're here
First things first: location permissions are required to be "always on" to properly use the app. Pros will be unable to apply for or confirm shifts without this setting.
Here is how the Qwick process of filling a shift works:
Businesses post shifts when they're in need of assistance. Shifts may be posted to the shift board (the "browse" section of your app) or sent as direct offers. Please note: businesses may request more than one individual.
Pros apply to shifts via the shift board in the app. Once applied, applications will be listed in the “Applied” tab on the app, within the "schedule" tab.
Professionals will be selected from the pool of applicants and sent offers. Most shifts will send offers within a certain time frame of the shift automatically, determining the best fit based on profile information. Some businesses do select their own applicants.
If you're selected, you'll be notified in the app. Pros will only receive a notification if they're sent an offer. Otherwise, the shift may just disappear, which means you weren't selected.
Pros must confirm the shift selection within the app; the first pro to confirm gets the shift. Multiple professionals may be sent offers, so we recommend you act fast if you're interested.
Work the shift! We require businesses to verify your time worked within 48 hours after the end of the shift.
Once payment is confirmed, the pro will be notified that they have been paid. You can either wait for the money to be sent to you from your Stripe account or you can use the Qwick Instant Pay feature to get your money in 30 minutes or less for 1099 shifts.
