How do I get confirmed on a shift?
When you open the Qwick app, it will open to the "Browse" page. From here, you'll be able to explore all the open shifts in your area.
Please note - location permissions are required to be "always on" for the Qwick app to view available shifts. The app will prompt you to adjust this setting as needed, but you can do so in your phone settings at any time.
Once you find a shift you're interested in, you'll apply for it. Once applied, it'll sit in the "applied" section of your "schedule" tab.
The app will notify you when you are selected for a shift (this is still not a confirmation, but letting you know it is available to be confirmed).
*Note - multiple professionals may receive offers at the same time for limited spots, so don't delay too long!
If the app icon on your phone has a red number on it, you have been selected for a shift (head to the "pending" section of your schedule tab to view these).
Tap that shift to open the shift card, tap "confirm" and double check it's showing up in the "confirmed" section of your schedule. If you do see it there, the shift is yours!
Some shifts may fill quickly and these will disappear once they do. Do not be alarmed if you see disappearing shifts, someone else snagged it first - but we'll continue to match you with more.
Once you have confirmed a shift, you cannot confirm another during the same time period or within two hours of the first confirmed shift's end time (unless the shift is for the same location). We just want to ensure you have sufficient time to travel from shift to shift if you're working extra hard that day!
