Adjusting hours when paying a shift

Edited

Use this article if you need to adjust a Professional's worked hours before submitting payment.

You can adjust hours whether or not the Professional used the Qwick time clock. The steps differ depending on how the shift was tracked

From your phone or desktop, visit biz.qwick.com, log in if necessary, and navigate to the home page.

Choose the correct option

  • Use the Reported Hours tab if the Professional clocked in or out using the Qwick time clock.

  • Use Adjust Hours if the Professional did not use the Qwick time clock or if you need to manually enter the worked hours.

If a professional has used the time clock feature to clock in and/or out for the shift:

  1. Click Pay Pro

  2. Click the Reported Hours tab

  3. Verify the time the pro clocked in or out. If it is incorrect for the time they worked, then you can adjust it here

  4. Click Pay Pro while on the Reported Hours tab to pay the pro for the time clocked or adjusted

*Important: If you're adjusting hours on the Reported Hours tab, complete the payment from that tab. Returning to the Contracted Hours tab before paying will cause the original contracted hours to be used instead of your adjusted hours.

  5. Tip the professional, if applicable

  6. Leave a star rating and a review, if desired

  7. Favorite the pro if you would like to work with them again, or Block the pro if you'd like future shifts posted to be hidden from them in the future (optional)

Qwick's time clock feature is a resource to help log, adjust, and pay professionals. Before submitting payment, review the Professional's worked hours carefully. The hours you confirm or enter will determine the payment amount for that shift.

If a professional has not used the time clock feature to clock in and/or out for the shift:

  1. Click Pay Pro

  2. Click Adjust Hours

  3. Change the date, start, and end time as needed (please ensure the AM/PM options are correct)

  4. Click Pay Pro

  5. Tip the pro, if applicable

  6. Leave a star rating and a review, if desired

  7. Favorite the pro if you would like to work with them again, or Block the pro if you'd like future shifts posted to be hidden from them in the future (optional)
