How to clock in + out of a shift
Location permissions are required to be "always on," and the app will prompt pros to set this permission. You will not be able to apply for or confirm gigs without this setting.
Approximately 1 hour before the shift starts, you will receive a notification in the app of your upcoming shift.
5 minutes before the shift starts, you will receive a notification in the app to clock in. You need to be on-site, and we recommend clocking in only after obtaining permission from an on-site manager. Please note that if the onsite manager confirms you didn't start working until a later time, your full shift time will be adjusted accordingly.
Once you've clocked in, the manager on duty will receive a notification, and you'll show as clocked in. If you need this time adjusted, please contact Qwick support; however, note that times cannot be adjusted until the end of the shift.
You can clock out at any time after the shift starts. Please be aware that if you clock out, there is no way to clock you back in, so be careful! Do not clock out until the very end of your shift to ensure accurate payment. If you do not clock out while you're still onsite, the payment may need to be verified, so we recommend staying onsite to clock out.
You can request to extend the shift in the app if you are working past the scheduled shift end time.
Once the shift end time passes, you will be prompted to clock out. You will automatically be clocked out 4 hours after the designated end shift time if you have not clocked out already or received an extension.
If you properly clock in and out on-site, you'll see your payment available in the "earnings" tab of your app. Businesses are able to make adjustments after as needed.
