Editing a Posted Shift

You can edit certain details of a shift after it has been posted. The options available depend on whether a Professional has already been confirmed for the shift.

How to Edit a Posted Shift

  1. Log in to biz.qwick.com.

  2. Go to the Schedule tab.

  3. Find the shift you want to edit.

  4. Select the three dots (•••) in the upper-right corner of the shift.

  5. Select Edit Shift.

  6. Make your changes.

  7. Select Update Shift to save.

What Can I Edit?

Available at Any Time

You can update:

  • Number of Professionals needed

  • Manager on Duty information

  • Private notes for the shift

Available Only Before a Professional Is Confirmed

If no Professional has been confirmed for the shift yet, you can also:

  • Increase the hourly pay rate

    • Note: Pay rates can only be increased, not decreased.

  • Change the shift start time

  • Change the shift end time

  • Add, remove, or edit an unpaid break

Once a Professional has been confirmed, these fields can no longer be edited through the platform.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I lower the hourly pay after posting a shift?

No. Hourly pay can only be increased, and only before a Professional has been confirmed.

Can I change the shift time after a Professional is confirmed?

No. Shift start and end times can only be edited before a Professional has been confirmed.

Can I add or remove an unpaid break after someone is confirmed?

No. Breaks can only be edited before a Professional has been confirmed.

I can't edit my shift. What should I do?
