Using a 4 Digit Clock In Code for a Shift

Edited

Qwick offers a 4-digit Clock In Code option for the time clock feature on our platform.

There are two ways a 4-digit Clock In code can be requested: either at the Account level or at the Shift level.

  • Account Level - means every Shift will require a 4-digit Clock In Code. Account-level codes must be turned on for the account by Qwick. Please use the Contact Support button in the menu to request Account Level 4-digit codes.

  • Shift Level - means a specific Shift will require a 4-digit check incCode. To request a 4-digit clock-in code for a Gig, click the three dots at the top right of the Gig in the Schedule Tab, and then click the Settings option and toggle the Request a 4-digit code to Clock In switch on.

If a Gig requires a 4-digit clock in code, the code will appear in the Shift on the Schedule Tab, and both the Location Manager(s) and the Manager on Duty will be sent the code via text message as well.

When a shift requires a 4-digit code to clock in, the Pro(s) cannot clock in without the code. When a Pro taps clock in, they will be required to input the 4-digit code to complete the clock-in process, and either the Manager on Duty or someone with business account level access will need to supply the Pro with the 4-digit code. This process is designed to ensure that confirmed Pros are on time and ready to work.
