Cancellation fees

Edited

Quick Summary

  • Businesses may be responsible for a minimum payment of up to four hours, including applicable fees, if a confirmed shift is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the shift start time are not subject to a cancellation fee.

  • If a Professional is sent home early, businesses are responsible for payment according to Qwick's cancellation policy.

  • If you have questions about a cancellation, contact Qwick Support.

When does a cancellation fee apply?

A cancellation fee may apply when:

  • A confirmed shift is canceled less than 24 hours before its scheduled start time.

  • A Professional is asked to leave before the scheduled end time of the shift for reasons other than disciplinary action.

If a business cancels a confirmed shift within 24 hours of the shift start time, the business may be required and agrees to pay up to a 4-hour minimum, including any associated fees. If the shift is canceled more than 24 hours before its scheduled start time, there is no cancellation fee.

If a business asks a Professional to leave before the scheduled end time of the shift, the business is responsible for payment based on the hours worked and may still be subject to the four-hour minimum, if applicable.

Important: Cancellation fees only apply when the conditions outlined in this policy are met.
