Onsite manager and special instructions

Edited

Once you confirm a shift, your shift card shows extra details meant only for you as the confirmed pro. Always review these before you head to the shift.

Who is the onsite manager?

The onsite manager is your main point of contact at the business for that shift (a business may also call this person the manager on duty). After you confirm, the onsite manager's name appears in your shift card. Check in with them when you arrive, and go to them first with any on-site questions or requests to adjust your clock times.

Special instructions

Businesses can add special instructions that only confirmed pros can see. These often cover things like:

  • Where to park or which entrance to use

  • Dress code or uniform details

  • Who to ask for when you arrive

  • Anything specific to that shift or location

Special instructions appear in your shift card once you're confirmed, so always read them before the shift starts.

Messaging the onsite manager

Once you've confirmed a shift, you can message the business directly in the app. For how this works, see Message businesses on confirmed shifts in-app.

Can't find these details?

All of this lives in your confirmed shift card. If the onsite manager's name or special instructions aren't showing, close and reopen the app, then check again. Still missing something? Text Qwick Support at 79425.
