Blocking a Professional

Businesses can block a Professional (Pro) to prevent them from seeing or accepting future shifts with your business.

Quick Summary

  • You can block a Pro anywhere you are able to leave a rating for them by checking "Block Pro" before submitting the rating.

  • You can also block a Pro when dismissing them for Pro performance or conduct issues if they have not worked any portion of the shift.

  • You can block a Pro from the History tab after a completed shift.

  • If a Pro worked any part of the shift and you're unsure how to proceed, contact Qwick Support before dismissing them.

  • If you need help blocking a Pro or believe you should not be charged for their time, text Qwick Support at 79425.

Option 1: Block a Pro while leaving a rating (Recommended)

After a shift is complete, you'll have the opportunity to rate the Professional.

  1. Leave your rating.

  2. Check the "Block Pro" box.

  3. Submit your rating.

The Professional will be blocked from viewing future shifts with your business.

Option 2: Block a Pro when dismissing them from a shift

If a Professional needs to be removed before they begin working, you can dismiss and block them at the same time.

  1. Dismiss the Professional from the shift.

  2. Select "Pro performance or conduct issues."

  3. Complete the dismissal.

Important: Only use this option if the Professional did not work any portion of the shift. If they performed any work, do not dismiss them using this reason. Instead, contact Qwick Support for assistance.

Option 3: Block a Pro from the History tab

You can also block a Professional after a completed shift from the History page.

  1. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of any page.

  2. Select History.

  3. Locate the shift the Professional worked.

  4. Click Show Confirmed Pros.

  5. Click the three dots next to the Professional's name.

  6. Select Block Pro.
