Special Cases

Paying a Professional Who Wasn't Confirmed on a Shift

In some situations, a Professional may have worked a shift but was never confirmed or matched to it in the platform. When this happens, the business may need to create a private shift so the Professional can be paid.

To complete this process:

  1. Create a private shift for the Professional.

  2. Set the shift duration to 15 minutes.

  3. Send the direct offer to the Professional and have them confirm it.

  4. After the shift has ended, update the shift date and worked hours to match the actual shift the Professional completed.

  5. Submit payment as you normally would.

Important: This process should only be used when a Professional actually worked a shift but was not confirmed in Qwick. If you need assistance or are unsure whether this process is appropriate, contact Qwick Support before making changes. Our team can help ensure the Professional is paid correctly.
