Schedules let you create multiple shifts at one time instead of posting each one individually.
Use schedules when you:
Know your staffing needs in advance.
Need to create multiple shifts at once.
Have shifts with different dates, times, or positions.
Want to save time posting several shifts.
To create a schedule:
Select Create Schedule.

Use a recurring shift when you need to automatically repost the same shift on a regular schedule.
To create a recurring shift:
Select Post Shift.
Complete the shift details.
Select Set to Recur at the bottom of the posting page.

When should I use a recurring shift?
Use a recurring shift when:
The same shift repeats on a regular schedule.
The position, location, and hours stay the same.
You want Qwick to automatically create future instances of the shift.
If you need to create several different shifts at once, use Create a Schedule instead.
Create an Event
Events are useful when staffing larger occasions that may require multiple Professionals over one or more days.
Examples include:
Weddings
Festivals
Sporting events
Corporate events
Holiday parties
To create an event:
Select Create Event.
Enter the event information.
Add the shifts needed.
Review.
Post.
How to Add an Unpaid Break
Businesses can add an unpaid break when creating a Shift, Schedule, or Event.
To add an unpaid break:
During the posting flow, the Unpaid Break option appears below the shift time and next to the shift location.
Enter your shift details.
Select the unpaid break length.
Continue creating your posting.
The unpaid break will be included in the shift details that Professionals see before they are matched to the shift.
How unpaid breaks affect the shift
Adding an unpaid break:
Does not increase the total scheduled shift length.
Deducts the unpaid break from the Professional's paid working time.
Reduces the total cost of the shift accordingly.
Is saved when using or creating shift templates.
After the shift ends
When reviewing worked hours:
Professionals can increase the unpaid break they actually took if needed.
Professionals cannot reduce the unpaid break that was originally assigned.
If a Professional did not take all or part of the unpaid break, adjust the worked hours before submitting payment so they are compensated for the additional time worked.
If you need help correcting worked hours, contact Qwick Support by texting 79425.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between a Shift, Recurring Shift, Schedule, and Event?
Shift: Creates a single shift for one date.
Recurring Shift: Automatically reposts the same shift on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule.
Schedule: Creates multiple shifts at once, which can have different dates, times, or positions.
Event: Groups multiple shifts together for the same event, often across several positions or dates.
Can I edit a posting after publishing?
Yes. Depending on the status of the posting, you can update certain details from your dashboard.
Can I cancel a posting?
Yes. Cancellation policies may vary depending on whether Professionals have already been confirmed.
When will Professionals be notified?
Qualified Professionals who match your shift requirements are notified after the shift is posted.
Where can I view my past or upcoming shifts?
You can view both upcoming and completed shifts from the History tab or Schedule tab in your Business Dashboard. Use the Day, Week, or Month view to find the shifts you're looking for.
Can I add an unpaid break to any posting?
Yes. Unpaid breaks can be added when creating a Shift, Schedule, or Event.
Does an unpaid break make the shift longer?
No. The unpaid break is included within the scheduled shift time and does not extend the shift. Instead, the unpaid break is deducted from the Professional's paid working time.
What if the Professional didn't take the unpaid break?
Before submitting payment, review the worked hours and adjust them if the Professional worked through all or part of the unpaid break so they are paid for the additional time worked.
