Summary

Between November 3–4, 2025, we experienced an issue with our payment provider, Stripe, that caused some professionals to see unexpected withdrawals from their linked bank accounts and lower-than-expected balances in their Qwick profiles.

Our engineering and finance teams escalated the matter immediately to Stripe’s critical support and account management teams. Stripe has acknowledged the issue and is actively working with us to identify and reverse the affected transactions.

We recognize the seriousness of this situation and sincerely regret the impact it has had on those affected. Your personal data and login credentials remain fully secure.


Impact

  • A number of professionals saw direct debits from their bank accounts connected to Qwick via Stripe.

  • Some account balances may appear lower than expected while reconciliation continues.

  • Upcoming payments may be delayed for a subset of users while balances are verified and corrected.

  • New transactions and payouts are being carefully monitored to ensure accuracy and stability.

  • Immediately engaged Stripe’s senior engineering and account management teams for emergency review.

  • Implemented safeguards to prevent additional debit activity while reconciliation is underway.

  • Rotated system credentials and deployed platform-level updates to strengthen controls around payout flows.

  • Confirmed the underlying configuration error.

  • Initiated reconciliation of all affected accounts.

  • Committed to supporting Qwick in reversing debits and restoring accurate balances as a top priority.

  • Some scheduled payouts may be delayed while reconciliation is finalized.
