W-2 commuter benefits

Qwick W-2 employees are eligible to participate in our commuter benefits program. This allows professionals to set aside money from their weekly pay to cover commuter costs they would normally incur (such as transit fare and parking fees) without having to pay taxes on that money. 

Pre-tax deductions from the employee's weekly paycheck are deposited into a reimbursement account, which the worker can then use for eligible parking and transportation costs incurred while commuting to and from work. 

Employees will receive information on how to participate in this program when they complete W-2 onboarding. 

Please note: This is not a stipend or an employer-matched benefit; this is strictly a deduction from the employees' earned pay that allows them to cover their travel costs for work with pre-tax money.
