W-2 application (onboarding) process

Edited

What is the application experience like, and how can I prepare for it?

To begin the application process, tap on a W-2 shift in the Qwick app. A prompt will appear asking you to start the W-2 onboarding process. Tap the prompt to begin.

If you don’t see a W-2 shift available to start the onboarding process, please reach out to Support directly by texting 79425. Our team can assist with prompting your W-2 onboarding so you can begin the application process.

The app will guide you through an application checklist with several required steps. You’ll need to complete each step before you can be hired and work W-2 shifts.

What steps are included in the onboarding process?

The W-2 onboarding process includes the following steps:

Payroll Information
Provide your banking details so we can process your pay.

Federal Form W-4
Complete your tax withholding form, which determines how federal taxes are withheld from your pay.

Form I-9 and Employment Eligibility Verification
Verify your identity and confirm your eligibility to work in the United States.

Employment Offer and Agreements
Review and sign your offer of employment.

Employee Handbook and Policies
Review and acknowledge important company policies and documents.

What information should I have ready?

To complete onboarding smoothly, it helps to have the following information available:

  • Your banking information for payroll

  • Information needed to complete a Federal Form W-4

  • Identity verification documents for the Form I-9 process

  • Access to the documents needed for E-Verification through Zeal, our application vendor

Having these items ready will help you complete onboarding more quickly.

What documents will I need to review and sign?

During onboarding, you’ll be asked to review and sign several important documents.

Offer Letter
Confirms your employment with Qwick and outlines the terms of your role.

Employee Handbook
Provides an overview of workplace policies and expectations.

Confidentiality Agreement
Explains your responsibility to protect confidential information from our business partners.

Arbitration Agreement
States that certain employment-related claims will be resolved through arbitration rather than in court.

Please read each document carefully before signing.

What is required during the employment eligibility step?

Federal law requires all U.S. employers to verify that employees are eligible to work in the United States.

As part of this requirement, you will complete Form I-9 during the application process.

You must provide documents that verify your identity and employment eligibility. The most common option is a passport or passport card, but several other documents are accepted.

You can provide:

  • One document from List A, or

  • One document from List B and one document from List C

You can view the full list of acceptable documents on the USCIS Form I-9 website.

How does E-Verification work?

The E-Verification process is completed through Zeal, a third-party vendor used during onboarding.

To complete this step, you’ll need someone you trust to help verify your identity in person.

During the process:

  1. Zeal will ask for the person’s cell phone number.

  2. They will receive a text message with instructions.

  3. They will confirm your identity and sign the verification form.

Once they complete this step, your identity verification will be finished.

How will I know if I’ve been successfully hired?

After you complete all tasks on your application checklist and are hired by Labor Force Group, LLC, you will receive a welcome email confirming your employment.

In the Qwick app, available W-2 shifts will be marked with a W-2 badge, making them easy to identify.
