Connected Cell Service
Qwick uses the cell phone number as the unique ID for each user/profile. Pros (workers) using the Qwick platform to work Shifts are required to have connected cell service with the phone number associated with their profile. Qwick requires this for the following:
Cell Data and Location Permissions to apply to and confirm Shifts
Cell Data and Location Permissions for Clocking in and Out of Shifts
Orientation calls/texts
First confirmed Shift calls/texts
Suspension texts
Confirmed Shift update call/texts
If Qwick reaches out to a Pro and their cell service is not connected, the Pro's profile will be deactivated, and all confirmed Shifts and Shift applications will be cancelled.
If a Pro does not have access to the cell number associated with their profile, they will be required to create a new profile with their current, connected cell number, as Qwick does not offer account recovery or account merging.
