Qwick Certified Pros

Edited

Qwick certifies pros by position (Bartender, Banquet Server, Line Cook, etc.) and badges your profile to help you match with the right shifts.

How to get certified

  • Already have experience? Head to Qwick Certifications in your app's menu and chat with Maya, our AI experience agent. It only takes a few minutes — tell Maya about roles you've already worked, and we'll update your profile with the relevant skill badges right after the chat.

  • Building experience? Complete shifts on the platform successfully while keeping a positive score, and you'll earn skill badges automatically as you go.

Why verify your skills

Verifying your skills with Maya helps ensure you're matched with shifts that fit your background — pros who complete this chat are more likely to be matched with shifts in their verified areas, and sooner. You can still be matched with shifts on Qwick without verified skills; verifying just increases the likelihood of a great fit.

Not seeing enough matches? A few factors can affect how often you're matched with shifts: your overall score, shift availability in your area, and whether you have skill badges verified for the type of work you're looking for. If it's been a while since you've added a badge, chatting with Maya is a quick way to check whether your profile reflects your current experience.

What if Maya doesn't verify me for a skill? Badges are only awarded when you can demonstrate relevant previous experience. If you haven't worked in that role before, you won't be certified for it yet — but you're welcome to try again after 30 days, or build experience by completing shifts in that area.

How long does it take for my badge to show up? Usually right after your chat, though some responses may need further review. If you don't see an update within 48 hours, reach out to support.

Is there a penalty for not getting a badge? No — there's no penalty for attempting the chat and not being certified.

Can badges be removed? Existing badges won't be downgraded during the chat itself, but a badge can be removed later if you receive poor feedback on a related shift.

Keep in mind: There's no formal training provided for shifts — only accept shifts you're confident you can jump right into. Low ratings from taking on a shift outside your experience can bring your overall score down. Review shift details carefully, including about expectations, before accepting.
